A city break brings together several days in one city into a connected programme – hotel, programme, restaurants and transport interlock. Markus Werner Karrie has been personally responsible for this area for twenty-five years, in the fourth generation of a family business founded in 1908.
On request, we take on the entire planning. On request, we review your own ideas and adapt them to availability, season and programme logistics. From the first briefing to the return journey, you speak with the same person – whether the trip is planned for business or in private.

City break Berlin
Berlin cannot be captured in a single line. Mitte, Charlottenburg, Kreuzberg, Prenzlauer Berg — each district carries its own mood, and the routes between them belong to the city as much as its squares.
City break Munich
Munich combines royal grandeur with an alpine hinterland. The Residenz and Marienplatz mark the centre, the Kunstareal gathers three Pinakothek galleries, and the Alps are an hour's drive away.
City break Hamburg
Hamburg lives between the harbour and the Alster. The Speicherstadt and Elbphilharmonie anchor the west, the city hall the east. In between, more bridges than Venice, Amsterdam and Stockholm combined.

Bremen reveals itself on foot. The Marktplatz, Schnoor and Schlachte lie so close together that the city can be walked in hours — and yet over days it gives up layers that only show themselves at second glance.
City break Dresden
Dresden is experienced over days, not hours. The baroque centre is dense, the cultural offering international – and both lie within walking distance of the hotel quarter on the Neumarkt.
City break Erfurt
Erfurt shows its medieval heart undisguised. The Krämerbrücke, the cathedral square and the Jewish-medieval heritage — a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2023 — sit within an old-town core that can be crossed in hours and read over days.
City break Leipzig
Leipzig carries three threads at once. The musical history around Bach and the Gewandhaus, the Peaceful Revolution with the Nikolaikirche at its centre, and the contemporary art scene around the Spinnerei in Plagwitz.
City break Nuremberg
Nuremberg is history in layers. The medieval old town below the Kaiserburg, the traces of the Reformation around Albrecht Dürer — all within the historic city wall or its immediate surroundings.
City break Stuttgart
Stuttgart sits in a basin and thinks in slopes. Three axes shape the city: the palace ensemble on the Schlossplatz, the motoring culture with the Mercedes-Benz and Porsche museums, and the vineyards.
City break Frankfurt
Frankfurt stands between two scales. On one side of the Main the skyline of the banking city, on the other the Museumsufer with twelve houses in a row – and between them an old-town core.
City break Hannover
Hanover lends itself to planning. The Maschsee to the south, the Herrenhäuser Gärten to the north, the city centre with the Rote Faden in between — the distances are short, the programmes dense.
City break Dusseldorf
Düsseldorf wears its claim to art and fashion lightly. The Königsallee, the old town and the Medienhafen line the Rhine, and culturally the city holds an international standard with the K20/K21 art collection.

Markus Werner Karrie designed the Top Conference Sprinter himself and had it built to his specifications. This configuration — twelve individual seats, four conference tables, 230 volts, a fully equipped onboard galley with refrigerator — exists in this form only once in Germany.
A city tour brings together hotel, programme and appointments over several days. The Top Conference Sprinter stays with you throughout — as a transfer vehicle in the morning, as a break room between stops, as a conference room when the programme runs long.
The onboard galley with refrigerator turns the Top Conference Sprinter into its own dining space. Breakfast before the programme begins, canapés between two appointments, drinks on the move — on request, Silvervision handles the selection as part of our catering service.
